A great squeeze page must have a great headline. The headline on your squeeze page needs to launch itself off of the page and capture the attention of your reader in just a few short seconds. Bullet Points
Bullet points are an excellent way to tell your reader what’s in it for them when they sign up. This is something that should be used on every squeeze page as people want to know exactly what you can offer them.
Free Giveaway
Simply asking for your readers email address is not enough and you will need to give them something in exchange for signing up to your opt-in email list. This is an excellent tactic for increasing the number of opt-ins that you receive. You could give away anything. Some ideas include a free eBook, access to a free video or even a discount on the services that you offer.
Email Opt-in Form
Of course it is important to have an email opt-in form on your squeeze page, but many people tend to place it in the wrong place. The email opt-in form should always be placed above the fold so that it is visible without your reader having to scroll down. This is vital for increasing your conversion rate.
Call to Action
A strong call to action is vital to the success of your squeeze page. You should never assume that your reader knows what to do next. Make sure that you tell them exactly what it is that you would like them to do. An example of a call to action would be something along the lines of – Enter your details in the box below for your FREE eBook.
