Amazon
Believe it or not www.Amazon.com is one of the best places to find great deals. Tens of thousands of sellers list their items on Amazon so that you can see each individual price right next to each other. Some items are better than others, but you can see which sellers are trustworthy and what kind of quality they can deliver to you by noticing the five star rating.
If they have a low rating then you don't buy from them, that's pretty obvious. The nice thing about Amazon is the fact that you can buy everything from their site and you don't have to sign up with every individual site that sells the item you want.
Half.com
Another great site where you can compare smaller products is half.com. Half.com is owned by eBay, but only sells smaller media items such as books, CDs, DVDs, and video games. You can save up to 95% by buying items from half.com and relisting them for profit on other websites. Paperback books cost $.75 brand-new so you really can't beat these prices even though shipping will be about $3.50. That's still a 50% savings.
A quick way to make money with half.com is to buy textbooks throughout the year at cheap prices and then list them again when the semester starts for universities. That's a surefire way to make a quick buck.
Google
One of the best price comparison sites is Google's shopping site. This is the Google search engine at its best. All it does is simply crawl through the Internet finding different prices and listing them in one place. It doesn't matter how rare an item is, Google will be able to find it if it's on a website.
Shopping.Google.com is really great when you are looking for competition. You can also use Google's keyword tools to see which items are currently sought after so you can gauge the demand.
Obviously there are hundreds of these websites out there and they all do a pretty good job, but you'll never find better deals than on these websites. It doesn't matter if you want to buy items from them or simply check to see which items are in demand. You can look at anything from electronics to color copies.
