1. The first strategy we will use will be buying from craigslist to sell on eBay. I'm sure you have thought of this strategy before, but have never actually tried it. For this example we will use a Nintendo Wii.
Find a large city near you and look through the video game section on craigslist. I can guarantee that there'll be about seven or eight different Nintendo Wii is for sale or trade every day. About 70 to 80% of the time people will want more money than their Nintendo Wii is worth. Don't lose heart with this though as most people just want to get rid of their item. Give them a call and see if you can't get the price down to about 20% off of what it's actually worth. If you come to pick it up you can usually pull this off. Before you do that though, research the prices on eBay or other auction sites.
The trick is to get the item for 20% lower than the lowest listing on eBay. If the lowest you see it selling on eBay is $200, then try to get it for about $160 on craigslist. That should be really easy, especially if the person wants to trade for the item.
2. Of course you are guessing the next tactic. See which items sell for super cheap on eBay, but would sell for a lot on craigslist. This tactic is a bit harder, but if you find the right items then you can make a lot more doing it this way because you might be able to buy in bulk. The great thing about selling on craigslist is there are no fees to deal with. The buyer usually comes to you so you don't even need to leave your house, ever, but I highly suggest you do it only for social reasons.
3. You can advertise your affiliate program and post links to those that are interested. Something's craigslist doesn't like, but if you sell something like color copies or a physical item you should be fine when doing this. You can also just push your e-mail and create an automatic message that sends the link when somebody contacts you.

Re: 3 Strategies to Make Big Bucks with Craigslist Amazing...I never would have thought of this. Although, in today's economy, it's rather difficult to have the capital up front, that you need to buy low in the first place. I've got some stuff I've been meaning to sell, but haven't gotten the courage up yet to take the plunge. Besides, I'm not sure I want to sell on Craigslist or eBay... Guess it won't do me any good either way unless I actually do it, and put them up for sale.
