Google
The first website you have probably heard of. It's called Google and it's the number one marketing platform in the world. Don't think that Google can't be a good advertising option because it is relatively cheap depending on what you advertise. The trick with using Google is to not use the keywords such as ones you would find in the dictionary. Use longer tailed keywords such as "buy color copies for cheap" rather than "color copies". Although you won't get as much traffic, you will save a lot of money.
Craigslist
The next one is craigslist. The great thing about craigslist is it's 100% free and you can sell both physical and nonphysical items. Worst-case scenario, if you can't get somebody to buy your product on there, you can still collect e-mail addresses from people that were interested in your product so you can send them information later on down the road.
Lulu.com
If you have a digital item for sale such as an e-book, why not turn it into a physical copy? Using a site such as Lulu.com can turn any PDF file into a real-life book. The great thing is it costs virtually nothing to start and whenever somebody orders your book they print it. You don't have to buy 10,000 copies of it before hand to make some money. The best kind of books for this are how-to books.
Ezine Articles
Another great website is e-zinearticles.com. This is an article submission site, but what better way to get sales than to write your own reviews on your products. A good strategy is to use PPC advertising and link it directly to your review. People always buy products after they read a review or at least a positive review.
Amazon
The last website is Amazon.com. The great thing about listing your items for sale at Amazon.com is you don't pay any money until the item sells. That means you can list as many items as you want at the beginning and never have to worry about upfront fees.
These are just a couple of different websites you can use to market your products, but take some notes and print them out on color copies to keep them organized and try a couple of different websites because certain websites are better for certain products.
