So here a few tips for making money with Amazon.
1. It's true that there is a lot of competition with Amazon.com, but that's usually just for the larger items such as PlayStation and Xbox consoles. If you focus on other things that aren't as mainstream you can have lots of sales. The trick is to list lots of different items in order to make enough sales each day. You might only make one sale a week for a certain item, but if you have 100 various items that's quite a few sales every week.
Try picking a niche to work with such as used books or used DVDs. You'll find that there is still a huge demand for almost every DVD that somebody had ever watched. You will make your money mostly by being patient and buying used DVDs from yard sales and the likes.
2. This next technique is actually quite a good one. You will never need to buy inventory again using this technique. Go to your local DVD store and write down prices for DVDs on sale. Then go back to your house and list those items on Amazon for about five dollars more than what they were selling at the store. You may be asking yourself right now why would anybody pay more money than retail? I honestly can't answer that, but they do.
Perhaps they think when they buy it they will get something really special. A lot of people do not do their research. Since you don't have to pay anything until you sell an item you kind of have a win-win situation here. The only thing you have to worry about is coming up with the money to buy it first before you receive your payment because Amazon won't release funds until after your first two weeks. I believe after that though they will release funds quite quicker.
3. Just simply selling items from around your house can also make you money. Of course this won't last for very long, but it will allow you to accrue enough capital to buy more products to sell. Think of this more as a steppingstone for the future. This is also fantastic for getting rid of what you no longer use.
