You may be completely new to the concept of color news letter printing. And if that is the case it is really very difficult for you to understand the various aspects that are associated with the color copies of newsletters. In the recent years with the use of digital color printing color copies of news papers and newsletters have become all the more common.

Newsletters are usually one page or two page informational e-brochures prepared and emailed by the company using in-house resources. These newsletters give information about developments in the company and about new products. These newsletters are also printed and mailed out.

But when it comes to the printing of news letters certain things should be kept in mind. Even in case of color copies of newsletters you need to be very careful. Unless you take into consideration all these factors it is very difficult to have a newsletter which will be successful in its purpose.

When you are deciding upon a newsletter that you should take into consideration is the size. It is necessary that you determine the length and breadth of the news letter. Once you have determined the exact size of the news letter it becomes very easy for you the designs which you will incorporate into the newsletter. Basically the design depends on the scope of the size of the newsletter.

It is true that there are different sizes of the newsletter format available but if you want to save some money in your digital color printing it is better that you go for the smallest format. But when you want to create impact on the people it is better that you go for a bigger size. A4 size is usually recommended. One reason is that it can be printed front and back. Another is that there has to be enough material to print and the third is that most people want to go through the important points in a hurry and a larger size would only make them skip parts.

The next thing which you should keep in mind when deciding upon a newsletter is the quality of the paper. There will be a lot of choices when it comes to choosing the quality of the paper but you need to select the one which suits your purpose most. You need to choose the weight or the thickness of the paper. The special coatings which will be there in the paper are also something which you need to decide upon. Since most newsletters are read and discarded, a compromise on paper is acceptable.

In house design will usually take care of newsletters which are actually simple in layout and follow the same pattern from one issue to the next. Only the contents vary with design elements and placement remaining the same. It is usual to have someone who takes care of the layout. The newsletter can then be given for digital color printing which again can be in house using high speed laser printers or outsourced to print houses having digital color printing machines such as Xerox Deco color systems which give quality at lower prices.
